Raw edge is the most common edge type in the wire mesh industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selvage edge refers to the edge or border of wire mesh finished off so as to prevent unraveling. The&nbsp;selvage edge provides a finished edge for the wire mesh by continuously weaving the weft wire so that there is no exposed wire ends along the length of the roll.
