What Shielding Effectiveness Depends On?

The shielding effectiveness depends on the factors that include material,mesh,wire diameter,layers etc.

Material:

Stainless steel < brass < copper (premise: the same mesh and wire diameter)

Mesh:

16 mesh < 22 mesh < 80 mesh< 100 mesh (premise: the same material)

Wire diameter:

0.10mm < 0.15mm (premise: the same mesh and maerial)

Layer:

Single layer < double layer (premise: the same mesh, wire diameter and material)

Note: “< ” stand for the shielding effictive of previous item less than the next one.
